VENOM GT SUPERCAR HENNESSEY LOOK

The Venom GT blew the doors off the competition when it set the world speed record at 270 miles per hour, but records were made to be broken. Hennessey looks to up their own ante as they unveil the Venom F5.

This supercar is set to become the new fastest vehicle in the world. With plans of a 2016 delivery date, this 2-door will be sporting a “next-generation” V8 engine pumping out a staggering 1,400 horsepower through a single clutch paddle-shift transmission – said to be the fastest shift speeds yet. Of course more power alone is nice, but we are going for a record here.

Hennessey is also dropping some pounds as well, opting for plenty of carbon fibre and aluminium to help bring the curb weight down to the 2,8xx range. Now for the price tag. While nothing is set in stone, we expect this beauty to fetch upwards of $1.2 million when it does release.
